Technical FAQ
The devices are all connected, but I can’t start driving.
Make sure you’ve turned on the chair via the Omni.
Use an R-Net PC programmer to configure the Omni. In the settings Port 1 SID (or whichever port the Link is using) has to be set to proportional.
My Link doesn’t work. What can I do?
First, please check whether the Link is plugged in and the chair has been turned on via the Omni. If the Link’s LED still doesn’t come on, then the cable might be damaged or the Link itself is malfunctioning. In this case, please contact our support by filling out the Support form.
I can’t see anything on the Cubo display.?
First, please check whether the Link is plugged in and getting power from the chair (the Link’s LED is ON). If it is, and nothing shows up on the Cubo display then the cable connecting the two devices is damaged or the Cubo itself is malfunctioning. In this case, please contact our support by filling out the Support form.
I can’t start mousing, the Dongle isn’t working.
Make sure the BLE Dongle is fully plugged into the computer you’re using and wait for it to connect to the other devices in the kit (the LED turns into solid blue or cyan once the Vigo’s been calibrated). If that doesn’t happen, and the LED stays in a state of flashing blue, then the device cannot connect to the system we’re using. It’s either a Dongle from a different kit, paired with a different Cubo and Vigo OR the device is malfunctioning. In this case, please contact our support by filling out the Support form.
I can’t turn my Vigo headset on.
If you can’t turn on your headset by long-pressing the Multi-function button, then most likely the battery has died. Plug it in for a few minutes and see if the LED in the far end of the device (where the wink sensor is) comes on.
If it doesn’t, then it’s got a faulty battery. In this case, please contact our support by filling out the Support form.
Can I mute the Link?
Yes, by touching the GyroSet™ logo LED the Link can be muted and unmuted. A muted state will reset to unmuted on every startup.
Where can I check the serial numbers for the devices?
You can find the serial numbers on the product label on each device or use our maintenance app called Switch-It® Vigo Toolbox (formerly known as GyroSet Toolbox), which can be downloaded for iOS and Android devices alike from our website.
How can I use the Vigo as a headset for my mobile device?
- In the mobile phone Settings, turn on Bluetooth. (iOS and Android: Settings > Bluetooth > On)
- To pair Vigo with your mobile phone, press and hold the Vigo Multifunction Button for 7 seconds, until you hear the word “Pairing” (shortly after you hear “Power on”). The Alert LED will start flashing swiftly in blue.
- In your mobile phone Settings, search for new Bluetooth devices.
- Select “Vigo Headset”.
- Once successfully paired, the Alert LED will stop flashing, and you will hear the word “Connected” spoken from the Vigo earpiece.
- Now you can receive calls and control playable content on your phone by pressing the Multifunction Button on the Vigo.
How can I tell if the devices are connected?
Each device has a status LED light or in the case of Cubo a small screen. Depending on the state of these you can determine what’s going on and whether everything is connected. The flowchart above can help you navigate in this matter.
What do the different LED states mean?
If everything is ON, connected and paired, then the Link’s LED is breathing in green, the Dongle LED is a solid blue (or turquoise in Mouse mode), you can see a highlighted Bluetooth and a checkmark icon on the Cubo display and the Vigo’s LED is flashing in a cyan colour every 7 seconds.
If you experience anything other than these states, then please consult the manual and see what the different LED states mean in the Appendix.
